Welcome to Wild Hearts Nature School, where adventure begins!
Wild Hearts Nature School is excited to announce our NEW location as of Spring 2024. We are honored to be partnering with Ridge Haven Farm in Concord, NC. With over 100 wooded acres to explore, multiple streams, and a scenic Base Camp location, this beautiful property has much to offer.
When you arrive
At first glance, you’ll find yourself on a quiet country road. Suddenly the landscape will open up to a vast expanse of fields and preserved woodlands. Say hello to the grazing horses of Ridge Haven Farm as you arrive, then step across the parking lot to the gazebo - our pick up and drop off point for Wild Hearts Nature School. Together, our teachers and students will begin the school day by embarking on a short, but enchanting, hike along the well-trodden dirt path to base camp.
Base Camp
Within the woodland sanctuary of our Base Camp, you’ll find a haven for exploration and play. Here, amidst a tapestry of moss-covered rocks and vibrant wildflowers, your child's imagination and learning will take flight.
Our Base Camp features a shelter for rainy days, a one-of-a-kind Nature Ninja obstacle course, and a mud kitchen for endless creativity. Students can wander through our tranquil peace garden and soar between the trees on swings.
But the adventure doesn't end there!
Surrounding our Base Camp lies a sprawling expanse of over 100 acres, with endless opportunities for exploration and play. Students can explore and traverse through wetland, forest, and open-land habitats. The winding and branching spring-fed creeks weave through the heart of the forest, inviting little feet to splash away. Our native forest of mixed hardwood and softwood trees offers students the ability to observe and learn from a wide variety of species.

Ridge Haven Farm is thrilled to share their beautiful and blessed property with others through Wild Hearts Nature School. A 6th generation farm that is family based and faith driven, Ridge Haven Farm has a rich history. Over the years, this stunning property has been used to raise cattle and crops, and for the past 28 years, it has served as a thriving equine facility.
